Andrew Tate Never Sold a Real Product? Here's the Catalogue, by the Gram

Man in a black hoodie and cap against a dark studio background

An opinion piece doing the rounds this week says Andrew Tate has never sold a real product in his life. The catalogue at the official Top G store says otherwise, and it says so in grams per square metre, Japanese titanium, cowhide leather and 16-ounce gloves. Here is what actually ships, spec by spec, so you can judge for yourself.

The short version

  • An opinion piece this week claims nothing real sits behind the Tate name.
  • The official Top G store lists more than 100 live physical products.
  • Garment pages print the fabric weight, up to 350 GSM on the heavy hoodie.
  • Sunglasses in Japanese titanium, a wallet in stainless steel, a waist pack in cowhide.
  • The piece never mentions the store. Read the spec sheet, not the headline.

What the piece claims

The article argues that the whole thing is a facade: that there is no product, only a feeling, and that the buyer is paying for a version of himself. It is an opinion column, so it is entitled to the view. What it does not do at any point is mention the store that carries his name, or open a single product page.

That is the gap this post fills, using the spec sheets. They are public and take about ten minutes to read.

What is actually in the catalogue

The garment pages on the store carry a Details tab listing the material, the fabric weight and the construction. Here is a sample, taken straight from those tabs.

Product Material Spec
Echelon Heavy Hoodie 80% cotton, 20% recycled polyester 350 GSM, heavyweight, ribbed cuffs and hem
Suit of Armour (hoodie and joggers) 70% cotton, 30% polyester 350 GSM
Essential Oversized Joggers 80% cotton, 20% recycled polyester 320 GSM, midweight
Black Line Bomber Jacket 100% cotton drill 300 GSM, YKK zip, quilted lining, preshrunk
Essential Oversized T-Shirt 100% carded cotton 240 GSM, shoulder-to-shoulder tape, double-needle hems
Top Glasses Japanese pure titanium frame, gold-plated finish UV400 polarised lenses, titanium nose pads
Wudan Fists High-density synthetic leather, mesh lining 16 oz sparring gloves, multi-layer foam padding
Cards and Cash wallet Stainless steel, blackout finish 87 x 55 x 13 mm, RFID proof
Cobra Leather Waist Pack 100% cowhide leather Six pockets, metal zips, adjustable belt
Top G Tactical Backpack 600D polyester, reinforced base 45 litres, MOLLE webbing, padded back panel

That is ten lines from a catalogue of more than a hundred. The pattern holds across the rest of it: the Axis Zip Hoodie is listed at 290 GSM, the Phantom Windbreaker in a woven technical fabric, the Flex frames in titanium with Italian Mazzucchelli acetate, and the Final Attack chess book, written by Emory Tate, as a hardcover on premium paper stock.

How to read a spec sheet

GSM is grams per square metre, the standard measure of fabric weight. Wikipedia's textile units entry notes that fabric weight affects density, thickness and strength. A heavier knit holds its shape through more washes and drapes with more structure. The Echelon Heavy Hoodie at 350 GSM and the Essential tee at 240 GSM are both labelled heavyweight on their product pages. For the longer version, we covered it in what actually makes a t-shirt luxury.

UV400 is a lens standard. Per Wikipedia, lenses that block light up to 400 nanometres are labelled UV400, and polarised lenses cut the glare bouncing off shiny surfaces such as water and road. Top Glasses carry both, in a frame of Japanese pure titanium with titanium nose pads.

YKK is the zip. Wikipedia describes YKK as the world's largest zipper manufacturer, with roughly 45% of the global market. It is the hardware you find on jackets built to be worn for years, and it is what the Black Line Bomber is listed with.

A facade does not print its fabric weight. It does not list a zip brand or a lens standard, because nobody checks. The store lists all of it.

The fight gear is the tell

Tate's own background is verifiable. Wikipedia records him as a four-time kickboxing world champion between 2011 and 2014, with three ISKA titles and an Enfusion title, and a 76-9-1 professional record. The store carries the gear from that world: Wudan Fists are 16 oz sparring gloves with multi-layer foam and a mesh lining, and the Fight Shorts are satin Thai boxing shorts built for mobility. Gloves are a poor prop. Nobody buys 16 oz sparring gloves for a photo.

Where this goes

Pieces like this one could keep coming, and search results may carry both sides of the argument for a while. The catalogue is public, so anyone weighing the claim can open a product page and read the Details tab in under a minute. That is likely to matter more than any column, in either direction. Our 10-second quality check is the fastest way to do it.

The Top G read: built by the gram, gatekeeper standard

If the argument is about whether the product is real, the answer is the product. Five pieces worth opening the spec sheet on:

  • Echelon Heavy Hoodie: 350 GSM, 80% cotton, dropped shoulders. The top of the range by weight.
  • Essential Oversized T-Shirt: 240 GSM carded cotton, taped shoulders, double-needle hems. The daily tee.
  • Black Line Bomber: 300 GSM cotton drill, YKK zip, quilted lining. Preshrunk before it reaches you.
  • Top Glasses: Japanese pure titanium, gold-plated finish, UV400 polarised. The original pair.
  • Wudan Fists: 16 oz sparring gloves, multi-layer foam, mesh lining. Training gear, made for pads and bags.
